| Kevin Miller |
| Kevin E. Miller is Assistant Professor of Theology at Franciscan University of Steubenville. He has a B.S. in biochemistry and molecular biology, a M.A. in political science, and is a Ph.D. candidate in theology at Marquette University. He specializes in social, medical, and sexual ethics – his dissertation is an analysis of John Paul II’s teaching on capital punishment in light of the thought of St. Thomas Aquinas and Henri Cardinal de Lubac – and he also teaches and has written on Scripture. He is a member of the Board of Directors of University Faculty for Life, and has published in its annual proceedings, Life and Learning, as well as in Communio, Catholic Biblical Quarterly, and elsewhere. When not teaching or writing or giving frequent lectures to various groups and taking part in conferences and seminars, or reading voraciously, he enjoys both kinds of music – country AND western (well, okay, and classical, too, and German) – and cooking, quality beer, the outdoors, and the Green Bay Packers.

| Pamela H. Pilch |
| Pamela H. Pilch, J.D., LCCE, is a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator, diocesan NFP instructor, and the "stay-at-homeschooling" mom of three young sons. Married to her husband, John, for sixteen years, Pam is a retired attorney (UVa. Law, '93) who continues to indulge her dual interests in law and mothering in a variety of ways. Pam has led statewide legislative efforts on behalf of at-home parents and, during her six-years' service as a La Leche League Leader, specialized in legal issues related to breastfeeding as a member of LLL of Michigan's Professional Liaison Department. An adult convert to the Catholic faith, Pam recently founded the Catholic Nursing Mothers League (http://www.catholicbreastfeeding.org). She is also involved in work promoting healthy birth experiences and the Midwives Model of Care (TM), through her affiliation with Lamaze International and the Friends of Michigan Midwives.
Earlier in life, Pam was an outspoken "pro-choice", anti-child, "radical" feminist, who thought only of career, career, career. The discovery of NFP and "mothering through breastfeeding" knocked her off her horse on the proverbial road to Damascus, and she now spends a lot of time eating crow over all the things she "always" said she would NEVER do - like have kids, breastfeed those kids, sleep with those kids...and have kids that cry on airplanes. Through the discovery of Mulieris Dignitatem and other writings of this kind, Pam has been blessed to have discovered a new way of "being feminist." |
