Hosted by Catholic psychotherapist Dr. Gregory Popcak and family-life educator Lisa Popcak, HMS Radio offers a dynamic, interactive format designed to give you the resources and the support you need to live a more abundant life.
In addition to your calls, each day Heart, Mind & Strength offers you a chance to interact with some of the brightest and best voices in Catholic lay ministry.
Each Monday on her segment, RealLove, (from 2:05-2:13pm) chastity educator, MaryBeth Bonacci unpacks the Catholic vision of love, supports parents in passing on the message to our kids, and helps single Catholics live a more joyful, hopeful singlehood.
Every Tuesday (from 2:48-2:56), culture commentator, Mark Shea casts his Catholic-eye over the cultural landscape on Wild, Wild Life.
On Wednesdays (from 2:48-2:56), Catholic Parent magazine editor Woodeene Koenig-Bricker explores saints and Catholic tradition on Smells and Bells.
Each Thursday (from 2:48-2:56), Karen Anderson contributes to Celebrate the Faith in which she offers activities, resources, and craft projects to help your family connect with your Catholicism in creative ways.
Finally, each Friday we offer two segments for you. At the top of the hour (2:05-2:13) homeschooling mother of 10, Rachel Watkins celebrates living large in her humorously named segment, Life in the Big House and later (2:48-2:56) Catholic film critic Stephen Greydanus presents a faithful take on Hollywood’s latest offerings in Faith on Film.
